Efficient Fine Grinding for Soft to Hard Materials
The SBM 200 Disc Mill is designed for the fine grinding of soft to hard materials with a Mohs hardness of up to 8. It is suitable for laboratories and industrial applications requiring reliable, controlled, and reproducible particle size reduction.
Grinding takes place between two coarsely toothed discs. One disc remains stationary while the other is driven by a gear motor, generating powerful shearing forces. The adjustable gap between the discs controls the final particle size and can be set from 0.1 to 12 mm.

Simple, Flexible and Easy to Maintain
The hinged grinding chamber door provides excellent access for fast cleaning, inspection, and maintenance. Ground material is collected in a 0.5 dm³ glass bottle. For larger sample quantities, an optional hose adapter allows a larger collection container to be connected.
The SBM 200 can also be connected to an extraction system to reduce dust and support a cleaner working environment.
