Scientific and Precision Solutions (SPS), together with Thermo Fisher Scientific, successfully hosted a series of hands-on workshops on Thermo Scientific Amira-Avizo Software across leading South African universities, including University of Pretoria, University of the Witwatersrand, University of Cape Town and Stellenbosch University.
The workshops brought together scientists, researchers, and students working with imaging and 3D data, giving participants the opportunity to explore advanced 3D visualization, segmentation, and AI-powered image analysis workflows using their own datasets.
Feedback from attendees highlighted the software’s ease of use, powerful analytical capabilities, and ability to unlock new research possibilities across fields ranging from life sciences to materials research. It was inspiring to see how advanced image analysis is becoming an essential tool in modern research and imaging facilities.
